The world’s first gastrointestinal videoscope to break the 5 mm barrier, the GIF-N180, is a marvel of compact design. Even more impressive is the fact that this size reduction was achieved while improving the image quality compared to the narrowest diameter model in the previous line-up. The entire insertion tube measures just 4.9 mm in diameter, resulting in improved insertability and the option for transnasal insertion in nearly 100% of cases. Patient discomfort  is reduced and operator comfort enhanced.

The significantly shorter bending section as well as the reduced bending radius allow for a much easier manoeuvrability and closer observation, especially in the cardia region.
